What's your favorite book?

Fall is the season for sitting back by the fireplace, with a good book and some cider. I always start my new years resolution in September, so that I may be in the habit of doing them at years beginning. One of them is to read 2-3 books a month. I like to keep myself intellectually stimulated. Not to mention I love reading.
         I began reading, A Peoples History of the United States by Howard Zinn, but am only on the first chapter.  If only I had more time, I'd be able to indulge myself with more of his insightful writing. lol. 688 pages long and all about U.S. History can become tedious if you're not into that type of thing. I enjoy learning and believe knowledge is power. So to my readers, I'd like to know what books you've read lately? What are reading now? Or what your favorite book is of all time?
